The Salesmanship Club Institute for Excellence in Urban Education has the goal to affect the lives of hundreds—and eventually thousands—of urban children growing up in less - advantaged communities.

The Institute for Excellence in Urban Education’s vision is that students are more engaged learners as a result of the commitment that teachers and school leaders make to improve three areas:

• Building Responsive, Brain-Based Classrooms
• Developing Enhanced Curriculum to Engage Student
• Creating Communities of Respect and Learning

By sharing with other educators the successes that have been demonstrated at our J. Erik Jonsson Community School, our laboratory school to demonstrate best practices in these three critical areas, the Institute hopes to build a relationship with you. We believe that in this collaborative relationship, you can learn from us. . . and we can learn from you!
