Malinda joined Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers in 2006 with more than ten years of nonprofit communications experience in the public and media relations arena. Prior to joining SCYFC, she worked for the American Heart Association National Center (AHA) where she managed the “Go Red for Women” cause marketing and awareness campaign. Prior to her time with Go Red, Malinda worked within the technology and customer strategies division of AHA to promote the redesigned
americanheart.org web site and acted as homepage editor. Prior to her work at the American Heart Association, Malinda served in communications and media relations for Texas Health Resources as PR Manager for the company’s flagship Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. A “dyed-in-the-wool” TCU horned frog and Texas native, Malinda enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children and is a volunteer media/message trainer for the Dallas and Fort Worth offices of the American Cancer Society.
