“We seek to be innovators in the business of helping
families and kids in Dallas,” said Bobby Crotty, president,
Salesmanship Club of Dallas. “This is just one more
way we’re on the cutting edge of helping Dallas families
with intensive therapy, assessments and parenting classes
– regardless of their ability to pay for these services.”
The Salesmanship Club has served children in many ways over
the past 85 years. SCYFC operates innovative programs for
at-risk children and their families, including a laboratory
school in Oak Cliff and family therapy centers in Oak Cliff
and Northwest Dallas. The new Family Works Center is located
just miles from the site of the original Salesmanship Club
Youth Camp, the first chartered in Texas more than eight decades
ago.
“Our work is never done,” said Kent Skipper,
PhD, executive director, SCYFC. “Thanks to the dedicated
and generous efforts of the Salesmanship Club and our many
community supporters, our arms are extended to even more families
through this new Center.”
