Parent education groups focusing on parenting young children, adolescents and problem youth are offered in English and Spanish. These classes are regularly conducted at our office or can be held at area schools, nonprofit organizations, churches and businesses.

Parents Empowering Preschoolers
P.E.P classes are ongoing skill building classes (4:00 - 5:30 pm) for parents and their children (3 to 5 yrs). The classes are designed to assist parents and their children manage identified emotional and behavioral difficulties. Contact us at (214) 916-4000 to schedule a screening.

Teen & Young Adult Parenting Class Series
This is a ten week course whose topics include:
- Early Infant Brain Development
- Temperament
- Tantrums and Biting
- Baby Proofing
- Potty Training Basics
- Child Abuse Awareness

- Promoting Self-Esteem
- Attachment and Socialization

Familias Felices
Familias Felices is a group of Spanish-speaking parents committed to
making the most of family life. Each Tuesday from 6-7pm, moms and dads
gather to think through the challenges they face in raising their children.
By sharing their experiences with other parents, participants find emotional
support and learn from the experiences of others. The group is organized
around readings from the book Familias Felices by psychologist David Niven,
Ph.D., in which brief chapters identify and illustrate 100 qualities of
healthy families. Childcare is provided for children ages 3 to 11 during
the time that parents are in group. Please check course
