- Conduct annual internal evaluations and provide reports concerning
the effectiveness of all Mental Health Services Programs.
- Coordinate a longitudinal research study of students and families
at JEJCS throughout their tenure at the school. We track family changes
and students' development (academically and socially) over time and
provide annual reports concerning the school's progress.
- External evaluations of the long-term effects of programs on clients
(graduates of the J. Erik Jonsson Community School and the Therapeutic
After School Program).
- Research on Student Engagement for Learning In JEJCS
- Three rounds of research in eight classrooms in 2006-07 produced
an observational protocol for documenting teacher and student actions
in the classroom - all with the intent of capturing what teachers
did to engage their students in learning. We also developed a tool
for students to evaluate their own levels of engagement.
- We are implementing baseline observations in all JEJCS classrooms
in fall 2007 in preparation for several rounds of research about
the effectiveness of new teaching strategies in Science.
- Manage and report client and service statistics for all SCYFC programs,
including in-house communications support via a comprehensive intranet.
- All IT operations and functions for the agency.
