Club Youth and Family Centers serves the largest amount of children and
families through our therapy division.
We have a wide range of services to respond to a range of difficulties
children are experiencing. The following are examples of families who
may seek our services:
A retired grandmother who suddenly gets custody of two grandkids,
one of whom is depressed and the other is showing behavior problems at
school. We offer family therapy to help
this new family connect and solve problems together.
A young, single mother who is struggling with a two-year-old who
keeps getting kicked out of daycare for tantruming. Mom wants to find
out what’s going on with the child, before she loses her job for
missing so much work trying to be responsive to her child’s needs.
We offer comprehensive assessments and
work closely with mom to develop a plan.
A mother and step-father having trouble with an adolescent who won’t
follow the family rules. We offer parenting
classes to provide new tools and support from other parents so
the parents can manage the situation more effectively.
A father receiving calls at the office from his 13-year-old’s
middle school. The principal says he’s been skipping class again.
Ready to throw up his hands, Dad turns toward help and answers through
our Therapeutic After School Program.
These are just a few examples of the type of work we do with families
who are experiencing difficulties.
Our therapeutic services team works with families in English and Spanish
to make sure families receive the quality affordable mental health care
they need to help their family move forward.
Services operate on a sliding scale fee structure, but less than 5 percent
of our operating budget comes from client fees. We will file insurance
for those families who are fortunate enough to have it, but do not require
that any of our clients have health insurance to participate in our services.
We do not turn away families due to their inability to pay.
