About Us

Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers is a nonprofit organization that has worked to improve the lives of at-risk and troubled kids and families in the Dallas area since 1920.

Our work in education and therapeutic services is focused on:

• KIDS! We work with kids and their families to address concerns and identify new strategies for success at home and in school. From toddlers to teens, we can help families better understand their child’s social and emotional development, and how to create and maintain a home environment and school relationship that meets everybody’s needs.
• STRENGTHS. We help kids and families focus and build on their core strengths and then use them to steer toward a more stable, successful future.
• AFFORDABLE SERVICES. No family is ever turned away because they are unable to pay for services. The majority of our funding comes from the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, a service organization of more than 600 business and community leaders dedicated to supporting the activities of Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers, (SCYFC). The Salesmanship Club of Dallas annually sponsors the HP Byron Nelson Championship, and all proceeds from this PGA TOUR event fund our programs and services.

In addition, there is a strong emphasis on training and professional learning at SCYFC. It is simply not enough that we provide great services to kids and families who walk through our front door. We are also a dedicated learning organization and focused on research, training and results.
